Before Ramadhan BULOG Riau brought 17 tons of wheat cheap flour

As stated by the official of Bulog Riau Commercial Field, Hendra Gunafi, Thursday, April 19th, 2018. "We have prepared 17 tons of wheat flour to face the moment of Ramadhan and Eid" he said.

Hendra conveyed the supply of wheat flour is first marketed by Bulog Riau after previously frozen meat, cooking oil, rice, and also sugar. "It is the first for wheat flour because we consider the consumption of wheat flour during the fasting and Lebaran moments is always increasing, so we consider it necessary to maintain its supply" he explained.

Hendra conveyed wheat flour imported as much as 17 tons were given the brand "Terigu Kita". "As the typical Bulog all commodities are marketed branded with " Kita "and of course the price is more affordable than the others" he said.

Hendra hopes 17 tons of flour "Terigu Kita" can fulfill the demand for Riau and Riau Islands. So there is no price rose up during Ramadan or Eid.

In Pekanbaru the price of wheat flour in the traditional market is still around IDR 8 thousand per kg. Or there is an increase of about IDR 500 from the previous price IDR 7.500 per kg.
