Three new majors opened a registration at STIKes PMC

News24xx.com - Institute of Health Sciences (STIKes) Pekanbaru Medical Center (PMC) since January has opened new majors registration. This registration will be closed in August 2018.

This registration is the one for registrator of the 19th generation since the first opening of STIKes PMC in 2010

Three major programs opened are S1 Nursing, D III Midwifery, and Ners. For Ners, mentioned there are two programs that opened registration, ie for regular programs and non-regular programs. And mentioned that the total capacity of students as much as 240 students.

It is known that STIKes PMC is directly supervised by Prof. Dr. H.K Suheimi, SpOG (K) FER and Dr. Hj.Zurtias Suheimi, MARS.

Icha as the Head of D III of midwifery STIKes PMC stated that currently STIKes PMC has accreditation B. "The Institute of Higher Education Accreditation has established and certified STIkes PMC with accreditation B. This is for three departments in STIkes PMC" said Icha.

"This is an added value for STIKes PMC and also encouraged our students' learning to be better, and also improve the quality of our campus" said Icha.

Furthermore, Icha revealed that registration fee to enter  STIKes PMC is free. "Free for registration, this is for the one who had good ranked in previous school. So no longer need a written test and in addition first semester fee got discount" she said again.

Mentioned again that STIKes PMC now has a new library room, which is located on the 6th floor or the top of the building. "Our STIKes library is new, its position is at the top, so while reading can see the scenery around Pekanbaru city. " she explained.

Another advantages of STIKes PMC are already has two hospitals to practice, namely PMC Hospital Pekanbaru and RSIA Bunda Padang. Also has CCT (Continue Clinical Teaching), dormitories, health and computer laboratories, sports field, Granada Ballroom, Mosque and 24-hour Wi-Fi.

Earlier, PMC STIKes students also often conducted outside learning activities. "We often do lessons in the field, such as that recently in Center Tangkerang,  Urban Village in terms of helping in medical clinics and public health checks" said Icha.

"Other recent field practices are also taking place in Siak Kecil Subdistrict and Bukit Batu Sub-district, Bengkalis District, where we are presented at the their health center" he said.
