Prices of red chili and chicken meat goes down in Pekanbaru

News24xx.com - Friday, April 20th, 2018, the price of some commodities in Pekanbaru City experienced a decreasing in prices. Especially on the chicken meat and red chili origins Bukittinggi.

As noted by the Department of Industry and Trade (DPP) Pekanbaru record the price of chicken meat from IDR 25 thousand to IDR 23 thousand per kg and red chilli Bukittinggi from IDR 48 thousand to IDR 47 thousand per kg. While garlic price also fell down from IDR 35 thousand to IDR 30 thousand per kg.

Meanwhile, onion prices rise up from IDR 38 thousand to IDR 48 thousand per kg. Then fresh beef is still IDR 110 thousand per kg and chicken eggs IDR 1.500 per egg.

Head of Trade Section DPP Pekanbaru, Juarman delivered the price decrease due to the already increasing supply. "So the supply has come in, so the stock is more than enough, which make the price falls down" he said.

It's just that Juarman is still cautioning the possibility of price spike occures. Especially considering the moment of Ramadan to come. "Monitoring is still always we do, for the sellers  do not play on the price" he said.
