The plenary of House Representative of Riau has drafting two Local Regulations and running smoothly

News24xx.com -  On Monday, April 16th, 2018, the discussion plenary of two draft Local Regulations (Raperda) from House Representative (DPRD) of Riau was running smoothly.

DPRD Riau also has legitimize two Raperda about Electricity and Animal Health of veterinary community into Local Regulations as well.

The ratification of two local regulations was led by Vice Chairman of DPRD Riau, Sunaryo and Noviwaldy Jusman. 

Meanwhile from the Provincial Government of Riau was attended by the Regional Secretary (Sekda), Ahmad Hijazi with Forkopimda, Assistant, Expert Staff, Head of OPD (regional organization)  as well as 34 Riau DPRD Members.

Before the ratification, the Special Committee (Pansus) of each Perda was annouced the result of their work. 

Almainis, a spokesman for the Pansus for Electrification, reported the changes or revisions that were re-adjusted to the applicable regulations. Almainis also hopes the Raperda can beneficial for the citizens in Riau Province, especially in the field of empowerment, management and operation of electricity.

"We have faith and believe from support of all parties, the Raperda on Electrification could be presented and can provide benefits for all citizens in Riau," said Almainis when reporting the result of work.

Then,  the Special Committee for Animal Health and Veterinary Society was annouced by Mansyur HS. In his report, Mansyur talked about changes and revisions that have been adjusted with applicable legislation.

Raperda of Animal Health and Veterinary Society can have a legal umbrella in the implementation of animal health and public health. It is expected that Riau provincial government can be more optimal in organizing animal health and veterinary community.

The ratification of two Local Regulations by Riau Governor,  Thamrin Hasyim that representated by Sekda, Ahmad Hijazi, has appreciated the performance of special committee of DPRD Riau. 

Ahmad Hijazi stated that two local regulations are really needed for the supply and utilization of electricity and support the efforts of animal health and veterinary community.

Through Raperda of electricitification, it will be stipulated provision of electricity provider that covering the business type, actor, area, licensing, rights and obligations of business license holder, and electricity provider. 

"At the same time, the safety of electricity, development and supervision to realize the safe, reliable and environmentally friendly power supplies" said Ahmad Hijazi.

These Ranperda’s also regulate the electrical safety objectives which requires the installation of electric power to have a certificate of operation, equipment and electricity utilization shall be in accordance with Indonesian national standards and technical personnel shall have a competency certificate.

Especially,  addressing the growth rate of human and livestock, it is considered important to provide health services, ie to protect the health of animals, as an effort to improve the welfare of breeders and protect human safety from zoonotic infection.

Ahmad Hijazi delivered, with the approval of these two laws, with the maximum of 7 working days from the date of ratification, his party will completes and sets it into Local Regulations. 

After the ratification, the members of DPRD who attended in plenary, the chairman of Sunaryo and the Sekda of Riau has signed the law ratifications.
