Grab held special event for women driver partners to celebrate Kartini day

News24xx.com - The online transport service provider, Grab, held a special event for women who became their driver partners. The event was created as a form of appreciation of Grab to women to celebrate Kartini Day.

The event titled 'For You Kartini Masa Kini' was attended by hundreds of female driver partners coming from Jabodetabek area. It is estimated there are about 300 driver partners also attended the event held on Wednesday, April 18th 2018, in the area of ??Kemang, South Jakarta.

Disclosed by Marketing Director Grab Indonesia, Mediko Azwar, the women are part of the success of Grab achievement which is now almost in 125 cities in Indonesia. They dare to oppose the stigma of society to their work.

"Our achievement in almost 125 cities in Indonesia is not separated from the role of female driver partners who are diligently working against the stigma of the community towards their profession" said Mediko.

At the 'For You Kartini Masa Kini' event the Grab women partners get a presentation on safety riding with Queen Riders. They gain additional knowledge about how to dress safely during the trip to a good way of driving.

Attention to security is in line with Grab's commitment to provide the best safety to passengers and drivers.

In addition, the Grab driver partners also had the opportunity to attend the 'Yoga on the Road' session in getting tips on keeping up the body fitness to to stay fit after long drive. There is also a beauty class that was held with Pixy.
