According to valuation consultancy company, Brand Finance, Charlotte is estimated to be worth $ 4.3 billion to the British economy. It is significantly higher than her older brother, Prince George, who is estimated to be worth $ 3.2 billion. Meanwhile, her younger brother, Prince Louis, is estimated to be adding $ 67 million to UK economy before his first birthday.

“These numbers are projection of what the royal children could bring the UK economy in their lifetimes, assuming they will continue to have the same positive effect, said Sehr Sarwar, Brand Finance communications manager, as cited from Insider.

“The royal children have a positive impact on the sales of particular clothes and toys brands they wear or play with. In this sense, they have similar effect on brands as their mother, the Duchess of Cambridge, who has real Midas touch – everything she touches turns into gold” Brand Finance CEO, David Haigh said.

Haigh also added that the royal children have positive effect on tourism revenue as well. There are many visitors coming to London just to see George and Charlotte on the Buckingham Palace balcony with their parents. They also attract media attention whenever they go abroad, like in Poland and Germany.

Charlotte in particular, has influence fashion since she was born. For example, when she first appeared in her mother’s arms when she was just 10 hours old, she was covered with a white shawl made by G.H. Hurt & Sons. Soon, their website got 100,000 visits just on that day. They claimed that they are still making money from that particular shawl.

Another example, Charlotte is often seen wearing clothes made by Spanish brand, M&H. The next thing is that the girl dresses in their website sold for about $ 31. “Princess Charlotte wearing two of our floral dresses has had a huge impact on our brand,” said Margarita Pato, the founder of M&H, as cited from Insider.
