News24xx.com - Moscow and Washington reached an agreement on the time and place of the Russia-US summit, within the framework of which it is planned to hold a meeting with the participation of the presidents of the two countries. This was reported by the assistant to the President of Russia Yuri Ushakov, reports the agency "Interfax".

More detailed information about the upcoming talks between Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump will be made public in a few days.

According to Ushakov, the meeting will take several hours and begin with a tete-a-tete conversation. The presidents will pay special attention to such topics as bilateral relations, the settlement of the conflict in Syria and arrangement. Also, the parties can accept a joint statement.

The agreement to hold the summit was reached during a visit to Moscow US National Security Adviser John Bolton on June 27. In the Russian capital, the White House ambassador met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, as well as with President Vladimir Putin.

On June 26 the publication "Politico" reported that Helsinki could be the meeting point for Putin and Trump. Also, the Austrian newspaper «Kronen Zeitung» wrote that preparations for the summit are being held in Vienna, and the event itself can take place on July 15.
