Nining Sunarsih, The woman who had drowned for 1,5 year and found still alive

News24xx.com - Sukabumi citizens are in uproar. One of their citizens, Nining Sunarsih (52) was found drenched and covered with sand, but alive. What makes it shocking is that Nining had been declared dead since January 2017.

Nining, a citizen from Gede Pangrango Village, Kadudampit Sub-district, Sukabumi, was declared to be dead from drowning on January 8th 2017. A witness saw Nining being pulled to the middle of the sea by the waves. The witness could not do anything to help when Nining waved her hand from the middle of the ocean, asking for help.

A week passed and Search and Rescue team found a damaged dead body. They were sure that it was Nining. However, her family did not believe that the body was Nining’s. Although it was confirmed by DNA test that the body was Nining’s, her family still refused to believe that it was her.

“After 18 months, Nining’s family claimed to have a strange dream. Her uncle said that in the dream, Nining asked to be picked up in Pelabuhanratu beach, around the place where she was declared missing,” said the head of SAR Communication Forum of Sukabumi region, Okih Pajri, in a written statement.

At first, her uncle did not do anything about the dream. However, after having similar dreams several times, he and the other family members came to Pelabuhan Ratu beach, the area Citepus Istiqomah to be exact. They searched since Saturday, June 30th, but they could not find any sign of her. On Sunday, the widened their search and finally found Nining lying motionless at the beach.

“It’ is miraculous, but it is real. She was found still wearing the same clothes she had worn the day she was missing a year ago,” he explained.
