Vladimir Putin congratulates his citizen for successfully holding 2018 world cup event

News24xx.com - President Vladimir Putin expressed his pride for Russia for successfully holding an international football event 2018 World Cup which was completed on Sunday, July 15th 2018.

"We can be proud of how we manage this tournament, we have made this magnificent event a success" Putin said after the French national team's victory over Croatia in the final game.

He later said that the tourists who hold "fan IDs" for the World Cup still get visa-free access to Russia throughout 2018. "Foreign supporters with fan IDs can take an advantage with repeated permits to Russia without a visa until the end of the year" he said as quoted by AFP.

Putin also congratulates French President, Emmanuel Macron and Croatian President, Kolinda Grabar-Kitarovic for a stunning final match. "The final score is 4-2. I could not remember when I can see such a score and only a few people can, both teams are amazing, I'm sure everyone likes the way they play, so do I" said Putin.

In addition to Putin, Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev also boasted his country's success. "The finals are amazing: France is a champion, Russia is hosting the best World Cup" he wrote in a caption that captured the moment of celebration of the French Cup.
