As is known the exchange rate of the rupiah against the US dollar weakened to a position of about IDR 14 thousand per US dollar. "In addition to feed prices, farmers also call the ban on infected poultry vaccines, so breeders should look for alternatives, and the alternatives are more expensive, so the price of chicken is expensive" he said.

Besides, the price increase due to the high demand post Eid al-Fitr. "During Ramadan and Eid al-Fitr the price is stable, but after that the demand is high and the supply is reduced, so it makes the price expensive" he said.

For that Juarman asked the housewife can find an alternative. "We already have plans to discuss this with the province, so for consumers there is no need to panic in shopping" he said.

Price increases also impact on duck eggs IDR 3.000 from IDR 2.000 per egg and chicken egg IDR 2.500 from IDR 2.000 per egg. Then chicken meat from IDR 50 thousand rose to IDR 58 thousand per kg.
