More than 80 points yesterday, today hotspot in Riau is not detected by satellite

News24xx.com - Thursday, July 19th, 2018, yesterday hotspots in Riau Province had emerged up to 80 points with a confidence level above 50 percent. Even that number is the most of the total hotspots on the island of Sumatra.

Note by Meteorological, Climatology, and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) today the hotspot is not visible. "Hotspot in Sumatra is 10 points spread in Aceh 1 point, Lampung 8 points, South Sumatra 1 point whereas Riau hotspot is not detected by satellite" he said.

While the weather during the day is not scorching only 32 degrees Celsius.

"The potential for local light rain in parts of Kampar, Kuansing, Pekanbaru, Pelalawan, Rohil, Rohul, Inhu, and Inhil" he said.

At night there is also the potential of mild to moderate rain. "It can be accompanied by lightning and strong winds in the Kampar region, Kuansing, Dumai, Pekanbaru, Pelalawan, Rohil, and Rohul" he said.
