News24xx.com -  Tragic, a 15 year-old boy was forced to live in a barn with farm animals and eat twigs by his family.

Fortunately,  the starving teenager was found by a passer-by who was him in a field and was so worried by his condition.

Then, they called social services to came to that place, a home in Lincoln, Okla., where Lincoln County First District Attorney, Adam Panter became immediately aware that the teenager was suffering pretty terribly from malnourishment and physical abuse.

The youngster only have weighed about 80 pounds. Panter added, "His stomach was full of sticks, twigs, leaves and grass, which they still haven’t figured out how to remove. Frankly, the first couple days he was in the hospital, we weren’t sure he was going to survive. He was in terrible shape, but his condition is improving."

Now, the poor teen faces surgery to remove the wood from his stomach, that he had been trying to eat before because he was starving.

The boy told detectives he had been blasted in the leg with a shotgun by his father. And he had not been to school for two years. Then, the investigators discovered that the boy’s family had a fully stocked pantry, fridge, everything they needed.

The boy also got broken bones. And his brother, a four year-old child who living at the home was found to be fit and handed over to social services.

Jonathan Plank, his other brother also has been arrested on suspicion of neglecting his 15 year-old brother.
