Antonio Cassano says Ronaldo will score 40 goals for Juventus this season

News24xx.com - Former Italian footballer Antonio Cassano is optimistic Portugal star Cristiano Ronaldo can score 30 to 40 goals per season with Juventus. Ronaldo's arrival to Juventus from Real Madrid shocked the football world. He left the club which has three Champions League titles in a row.

Reporting from the Italian Football, Cassano assess the transfer of the holder of five Ballon d'Or title to the Italian leauge, Serie A as the right decision. "Cristiano has a wonderful experience, and.Juventus have to pay him with a great price, but they [Juventus management] are happy because the EUR 100 million worth of a player like that is a good offer" Cassano said.

"He is 33 years old on the birth certificate, but he is really careful to keep his fitness until it seems almost crazy to take care of his body. With the competitiveness of Serie A, he can score 30 to 40 goals per season" he added.

Cassano says Ronaldo is a player who has the gift or talent of playing football from God. He admitted deeply admired the striker of Portuguese national team who is always focused in achieving the target.

"He will be recorded in football history forever as one of the greatest players, and he deserved his success so far, he achieved everything thanks to his talents and hard work" said the former Real Madrid striker in 2006-2008.

"I am lucky enough to have played at Real Madrid, I know how to work there, Real Madrid is a big club, I am not surprised they sold him [Ronaldo] who has donated 450 goals. Real Madrid can survive without Ronaldo, they had sold David Beckham and Raul [Gonzalez]" he continued.
