Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew Temple, Temple which made from 1,5 millions of beer bottle

What is unique about this Wat Pa Maha Chedi Kaew Temple is that it is built out of beer bottles or energy drink bottles. In 1984, there is a group of monks that had to deal with a pile of trash in Sisaket, Thailand. To handle it, they asked civilians to gather the bottles to build a temple. Many people were able to gather beer bottles and energy drink bottles which then used to build a temple. There is more than 1,5 million beer bottles in total used for the building.

This temple has attracted the attentions of both local and foreign tourists. Many people visit the temple to see the unique building.
