Until today, there are as much as 593 aftershocks that shook Lombok

News24xx.com - Aftershocks still occur after 7.0 SR earth quake shook Lombok. Until this morning, there were 593 aftershocks. "The Lombok Earthquake Update since the 7sr earth quake on August 5th, 2018 until August 13th, 2018 at 10.00 WITA recorded 593 aftershocks" said BMKG Public Relations Head Hary Tirto Djatmiko through a written statement on Monday, August 13th 2018.

This 7.0 sr earthquake occurred on Sunday, August 5th 2018 last week. The death toll from the earthquake continued to increase. National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) noted that the total death toll from Lombok earthquake to date is 392 people.

"Until Saturday, August 12th 2018, there were 392 people died due to 7 SR earthquakes in NTB and Bali regions" said BNPB Head of Information Data and Public Relations Sutopo Purwo Nugroho in his statement to reporters on Sunday, August 12th 2018.

The death toll was spread in North Lombok Regency as many as 339 people, West Lombok 30 people, Mataram City 9 people, East Lombok 10 people, Central Lombok 2 people and City of Lombok 2 people.

Related to the earthquake in Lombok, National Police Chief General Tito Karnavian is scheduled to go to NTB today. Besides Tito, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) is scheduled to fly to NTB this afternoon.
