News24xx.com - Traveling inspiration can come from anywhere. For anti-mainstream tourists, read writing that only shows the beautiful side of tourist destinations is certainly boring. Streaming shows provider, Netflix, last July just released a new travel documentary series entitled 'Dark Tourist'.

Guided by New Zealand journalist David Farrier, this documentary series tells about his adventures in a number of destinations full of horror and full of tragedy.

There are currently eight episodes airing. The destinations that have been visited start from the location of the Second World War, a historical tour of JFK President's shooting, to history of Pablo Escobar. Indonesia has also been visited Farrier, who visited a funeral at Tana Toraja, South Sulawesi.

Quoted from Lonely Planet on Wednesday, August 15th 2018, since the broadcast appeared various responses from the audience appeared. But many also criticize the production of this adrenaline-laden documentary series, because Farrier is feared to inspire tourists who are too desperate.

Some also feel that this documentary series presents some inappropriate scenes, such as when Farrier met a woman who would commit suicide in the Aokigahara Forest in Japan and a small child affected by radiation.
