The controversial new jobs creation in Indonesia getting resistance on multiple fronts, including on the streets and TikTok.
TikTok users — mostly female — claiming to be mistresses of Indonesia’s MPs. And they posted videos of themselves with a thinly veiled threat that they would expose their salacious affairs with the politicians if they did not reverse the new law.
Some went as far as showing screenshots of censored chats and bank transfer receipts between them and the MPs.
And in most of the posts, the women ask “Remember me?”
And they also wrote about their supposed adulterous while threatening to drop the truth on the MPs’ spouses, and it went viral on Twitter.
Many of the videos have been compiled in one thread.
But, no names of the MPs were dropped. Until now, the House of Representatives (DPR) has not released a statement regarding the accusations.
