Kim Kardashian was often overwhelmed by Kanye West’s emotional turmoil, which led the television star to consider divorcing after six years of marriage. A source told ET that Kim Kardashian “has been considering divorcing Kanye West for a long time,”

“Kanye and Kim tried to save their marriage, but it became difficult when Kanye started acting up,” said the source.

“Kim focuses on raising children and ensuring they are in a safe and stable environment, and feels overwhelmed when taking care of Kanye too,” continued the source, quoted by ET, Thursday (7/1).

Kanye is known to be struggling with bipolar disorder that he has and experienced various turmoil in the last year, running as a presidential candidate with various controversial statements, ranging from questions about Kim, his family-in-law, to his children.

Kim also mentioned Kanye West’s bipolar condition. In July 2020, he called the rapper’s condition complicated.

“As many of you know, Kanye has bipolar disorder. Anyone who has this or has loved ones with this condition knows how very complicated and painful it is to understand,” Kim said at the time.

“I’ve never spoken to the public about how much it has affected us at home because I protect our children and Kanye’s right to have privacy regarding his health,” he continued.

Until Wednesday (6/1), the news about Kim preparing for divorce broke out. Both of them also reported having attended marriage counseling.

A source told People that the couple decided to attend marriage counseling and therapy to find other options for determining the fate of their household.

“Kim and Kanye are currently in counseling and exploring their options,” said the source. “They have been trying in their marriage for a long time, but no decision has made yet,”

On Wednesday (6/1), Kim Kardashian is reportedly preparing to divorce her husband, Kanye West, after nearly seven years of marriage.

According to several sources, the 40-year-old Keeping Up with the Kardashians star preparing a divorce suit against her husband, who married in May 2014.

“Kanye knew that Kim was fed up. Kim was tired, and he told Kanye that Kim needed space to think about his future,” a source told People, Wednesday (6/1).
