A man with the initials RP (33), a resident of Tembilahan Hulu Village, in Tembilahan Hulu District, Indragiri Hilir Regency, was secured, on Thursday, February 18, 2021, by the Narcotics Unit of the Indragiri Hilir Police.
RP was secured with evidence in the form of four packages of narcotics types of methamphetamine with a gross weight of 4.44 grams of shabu, methamphetamine suction devices, and scales, and IDR 3,225,000 in cash.
The Head Police of Indragiri Hilir, AKBP Dian Setyawan through the Head of Sub-Section of Public Relations, AKP Warno, explained that the arrest started with a member of the Resident Narcotics Resident of the Inhalation Police who received information from the public that a man often conducts the drug transactions.
When the search was carried out, it was witnessed by local residents, the police found the methamphetamine-type narcotics.
“The perpetrator and the evidence were brought to the Indragiri Hilir Police for further development and investigation,” Mr. Warno explained.
