Bangka Island is a beach tourism paradise because it has many very interesting types of beach tourism.
One of the favorite tourist destinations for local residents and tourists is Penyusuk Beach which is located in Belinyu, North Bangka, Bangka Belitung Islands.
Penyusuk Beach is one of the beautiful beaches in the Belinyu District. Its strategic location makes it the center of the island hopping to Putri Island and Lampu Island.
Unlike the beaches above, Penyusuk Beach is still relatively natural. The position of Penyusuk Beach which is in the northern part of Bangka Island makes this beach also fun to be used as a spot for hunting sunset.
Penyusuk Beach has two sides beach with different depths. The calm shore is marked by the anchoring of small boats belonging to fishermen, on the other hand, the deeper side of the beach has quite fierce waves.
In the Penyusuk Beach area, you can find a port that looks like it is no longer functioning, namely Tanjung Gudang Port, a port full of history for the people of the Bangka Belitung Islands.
Penyusuk Beach also presents its white sand, with large and small granite stone arrangements. The granite rocks on this beach are more numerous than other beaches on the island of Bangka. In fact, it can be said that almost 70% of the beach that stretches for ± 4 km is covered with granite.
In the middle of the beach, there is a granite rock that is soaring and very large, that visitors often climb the rock to then relax and enjoy the sea waves hitting the rocks.
These rocks seem to split the sea into 2 parts, where the northern part of the waves is very large because it is directly adjacent to the Natuna Sea so that visitors are not advised to swim in this part.
Meanwhile, in the west, the waves are calmer because they are covered by islands lined up in front of the beach, so visitors can freely bring their families to swim.
In addition, the four small and beautiful islands are lined up beautifully and make this beach seem protected from the swift waves of seawater. Then because the ocean currents are very calm, this beach is perfect for playing for children or it can also be used as a place to relax and play with the water.
How to get there?
The journey taken to this beach location is ± 15 minutes along the paved road to the beach.
Travel can be made using a private or rented vehicle because there is no public transportation to that location.
Before reaching the beach, our journey is spoiled with views of the blue ocean on the right and watching the beach from the top of the hilly road.
