Presiden Amerika Serikat (KAMI), Donald Trump, admitted that he got a detailed story from the leader of North Korea (North Korea), Kim Jong-Un, about his uncle’s execution a few years ago.
Trump said Kim Jong-Un’s uncle was beheaded and his body exhibited at the ranks of senior North Korean officials.
Seperti dilansir AFP, Sabtu (12 September 2020), Trump’s claim was conveyed in an interview with investigative journalist The Washington Post, Bob Woodward, who will publish his latest book entitled ‘Rage’.
The results of the interview were outlined by Woodward in his book which will be published on 15 September.
Jang Song Thaek, who is Kim Jong-Un’s uncle, is said to be a very powerful figure in the North Korean regime.
Namun, he was executed in connection with accusations of treason and corruption in 2013.
Jang’s execution is widely seen as an attempt by Kim Jong-Un to assert his authority mercilessly.
“(Kim Jong-Un) Told me everything. Tell me everything,” Trump told Woodward, as quoted from an excerpt from his book that will soon be published.
“Dia (Kim Jong-Un) killed his uncle and he put his body on the steps,” Trump said again, referring to a building used by senior North Korean officials.
North Korea has never previously officially disclosed how Jang was executed.
Despite reports that an anti-aircraft weapon was used.
Trump’s statement appears intended to show closeness to Kim Jong-Un.
Woodward’s book is also claimed to reveal 25 letters between Trump and Kim Jong-Un.
Even though nuclear talks with North Korea have stalled, Trump has insisted he still has good relations with Kim Jong-Un.
“He likes me. I like him. We get along,” Trump claims.
