Through a webinar on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2020, the governor of Jakarta Anies Baswedan said that air pollution is a health issue in the capital because it causing more than 5 million illnesses a year.
Anies also suggest, there should be an effort to improve air quality in Jakarta so that people could lead to healthier and more productive lives for the sake of economic stability.
Sebagai informasi, the severe air pollution in Jakarta mostly from vehicle emissions, factories, and coal-fired power plants.
