After announcing a planned remake of the popular Korean drama Boys Over Flowers in October 2020, months later a Thailand-based television production and talent agent GMMTV officially released an almost two-minute teaser of the so-called F4 Thailand on Wednesday, Desember 2, 2020.

Sebagai informasi, the story of Boys Over Flowers based on the Japanese manga.

It’s about the relationship between a strong-willed student named Geum Jan-di (Ku Hye-sun) and her school’s four richest boys or F4, namely Gu Jun-pyo (Lee Min Ho), Yoon Ji-hoo (Kim Hyun-joong), So Yi-jung (Kim Bum) and Song Woo-bin (Kim Joon).

Kemudian, the manga has been adapted into Taiwan’s Meteor Garden and Japan’s Hana Yori Dango, dan sekarang, Thailand.

For that drama, F4 Thailand will feature a lineup of up-and-coming Thai actors namely :

• Bright Vachirawit as Thyme
• Menangkan Metawin sebagai Kavin
• Dew Jirawat as Ren
• Nani Hirunkit as MJ.

Dan juga, a young actress named Tu Tontawan will portray Gorya, karakter utama wanita dalam drama.

Dijadwalkan untuk dirilis dalam 2021, Boys Over Flowers versi Thailand diproduksi oleh perusahaan produksi dan kreatif independen Thailand, Parbdee, yang proyeknya mencakup drama The Gifted yang mendapat banyak pujian.
