Polda Metro Jaya has named Rizieq Shihab, Imam Besar Front Pembela Islam (REIT) as a suspect in the crowd case. Penetapan tersangka berdasarkan hasil judul perkara.

Rizieq Shihab didakwa dengan Pasal 160 dan Artikel 216 dari KUHP. Sementara itu, the other five suspects were the wedding committee for Rizieq’s daughter, Syarifah Najwa Shihab.
