Beaten by Liverpool in the second leg of Champions League, Barcelona still can remove the bad memory from the semifinal last year

News24xx.com - Barcelona threw away a landslide advantage 3-0 and was eliminated by Liverpool in the Champions League semifinals. Blaugrana hasn't been escaped from the comeback curse. Barcelona came to Anfield on Wednesday, May 8th 2019 in the second leg of Champions League semi-final with a 3-0 lead in the first leg. Their lead was erased by Liverpool after scoring 4 goals.

Divock Origi opened hopes for Liverpool with a quick goal in the seventh minute, and there was no more goal for the rest of the first half. Then on the second half, Georginio Wijnaldum equalized their aggregate with Barcelona thanks to his two goals in the 54th and 56th minutes. Facing AS Roma, Barcelona won 4-1 at Camp Nou. But Roma brilliantly won three goals without reply at the Olimpico and passed to the final with an away goal advantage. For Liverpool, this is the second final of Champions League in a row.
