Rupiah keeps weakening against US Dollar this week

News24xx.com - Indonesian Rupiah has weakened again against US Dollar. In comparison, other Asian currencies seem to strengthen.

Last Friday, the ratio is 14,282 Rupiah per one Dollar. But then exchange rate had hovered above 14,300 Rupiah per dollar. After that, Rupiah has weakened further.

On Monday, it was Rp 14,308 per Dollar. On Tuesday, it was Rp 14,309 per Dollar. On Wednesday, it was Rp 14,305 per Dollar. On Thursday, it was Rp 14,338 per Dollar.

At 10:40 a.m. on Friday, Indonesian Rupiah stood at Rp 14,367 per US Dollar in the foreign exchange spot market.

In contrast, some of the Asian currencies strengthened against US Dollar. Among them are Thailand’s Baht, China’s Yuan, South Korea’s Won, the Philippines’ Peso, Singapore’s Dollar and Taiwan’s Dollar and Hong Kong’s Dollar.
