Winning UEFA nations league with Portugal, Ronaldo adds the number of trophies he won to 31

Ronaldo helped Portugal to win the UEFA Nations League, by defeating the Netherlands 1-0 at the Estadio Do Dragao on Monday, June 10th 2019. The winning goal of Selecao das Quinas was scored by Goncalo Guedes.

For Ronaldo, his success in winning the UEFA Nations League made him add to his personal trophy collection. After winning the 2016 European Cup, he has now won the UEFA Nations League title, which is perfected with the title as the tournament top scorer thanks to 3 goals he scored.

The 34-year-old striker has now collected 31 trophies throughout his career. He won one trophy with Sporting Lisbon, 10 trophies at Manchester United, 16 trophies at Real Madrid, 2 trophies at Juventus, and 2 trophies for Portugal. Even so, the achievement of the Ronaldo trophy still lost to Messi. The Argentine striker has recorded 34 titles throughout his career, and all of the titles won with Barcelona.

As for Argentina, Messi has not been able to contribute a trophy at senior level. He only won a trophy with Argentine at the junior level when winning the 2005 U-20 World Cup and the 2008 Olympics.
