Inhil Regent asks the head district of Tempuling to find new location for the merchants of Sungai Salak market

News24xx.com -  The Regent of Indragiri Hilir (Inhil), HM Wardan came to check on the location of the fire that happened in Sungai Salak Market, Tempuling District, on Tuesday, July 16th. The fire has burnt down hundreds of kiosks; dozens of them were used by merchants to sell their products.

After the fire, the Regent asked the merchants not to build new shops or stands at the location of the fire, because they will do an assessment after the police are done with their investigation. At the time being, he asks the Head of Tempuling District to find the merchants another location to open their shops temporarily.

“Please find them a substitute location, so the location of the fire can be assessed, whether this place can be used as market based on previous discussion. Or weather the market will be placed in another location to make it more organized,” Wardan said.

Considering how many fire incidents happen lately, the Regent also asks the civilians to be careful in anything that can cause fire.
