A Bit of Cristiano Ronaldo's Journey to the 700th Goal

CR7 scored one goal to help the Selecao das Aquinas win 3-0 over Luxembourg at the Estadio Jose Alvalade on Saturday, Oct 12, early morning.


Ronaldo scored Portugal's second goal through a rather beautiful process. He vibrated the nets of Luxembourg through a chip kick that tricked Anthony Moris.


In the last five games in the international arena, Ronaldo managed to make nine goals.


In total, Ronaldo has made 94 goals in 160 appearances for his country. Ronaldo is an active player with the highest number of international goals.


The Juventus superstar is 15 goals adrift of legendary Iranian player Ali Daei as the player with the highest number of goals in international matches. Daei scored 109 goals from the 1993-2006 range.


Ronaldo is also now closer to his 700th goal throughout his professional football career. One goal against Luxemburg makes it now has 699 times thrill the opponent's net.


Ronaldo's chances of making his 700th goal open wide in the middle of this week when Portugal visited the Ukrainian headquarters on 15 October 2019. If he scores again in this fight , CR7 will break other records again.
