Bengkalis Bawaslu Starts Open Panwascam Recruitment End of November 2019 Upcoming

News24xx.com - Bengkalis Regency Bawaslu will form an ad hoc body in each district in Bengkalis Regency in preparation for the upcoming 2020 regional head election.

The Chairperson of Bengkalis Bawaslu, Mukhlasin said that in the near future his party would recruit the Sub-District Supervisory Committee (Panwascam) in every sub-district in Bengkalis Regency.

"We will immediately recruit Panwas staff in each district, and each subdistrict will have 3 people," Mukhlasin said, Wednesday, November 6, 2019.

Mukhlasin said, the recruitment of Panwascam will be carried out at the end of November 2019 and inauguration in December. "For this reason, the Election Supervisory Body invites the people of Bengkalis Regency to be able to actively participate in registering themselves as the organizer of the 2019 elections," he said.

"Our hope is that community participation in the recruitment process of Panwascam, so that the implementation of the Bengkalis Pilkada 2020 will really get HR) or later members of the Panwascam who have integrity," he said.

In addition, the Chairman of the Election Supervisory Body appealed to the public to report to the Election Supervisory Body if there are panwascam who are known to be involved in political parties in the upcoming Bengkalis elections in 2020.

"We really maintain the integrity of the election process, especially the elections so that the implementation process is not harmed by the alignment of one of the contestants," he said.

"If there are political participants who register, it is OK but for at least 5 years it has been inactive from party involvement," he concluded.
