News24xx.com - The Indonesian Pencak Silat Association (IPSI) Inhil Regency held the Pencak Silat Regency Championship (Kejurkab), in the Tasik Gemilang Tembilahan building

The championship which was participated by 128 representatives from 16 sub-districts of Inhil Regency was held in 14 class matches, which started from the 14th to the 17th of November 2019.
 
At the annual event, Tembilahan Hulu District came out as the overall champion after winning 4 gold medals, 1 silver medal and 2 bronze medals.

Daily Chairman Koni Inhil, As'at while attending the event, expressed his appreciation for the holding of the IPSI Inhabitation in 2019 amid limited funding but the participation and interest of the martial arts college was very high.
 
"This is one of the preparations for Koni in facing the Riau Province Province Province X Province which will be held in Kuantan Singingi Regency in 2021," he said.

As'at also reminded the management of sports, that in 2020 all athletes will be prepared both in terms of training and administration to go to Porprov X 2021 in Kuansing.

Meanwhile, the Chairperson of IPSI in Inhil Regency, Burhan Said explained that the Kejurkab this time was a place to find seeds for outstanding athletes from all martial arts schools in the regions.
 
"Champion 1 is confirmed to be Inhil's representative at Porprov, for second place, what will be the reserve if an obstacle occurs," he explained.

Burhan Said added, ahead of Porprov in 2021, the IPSI will focus on training and coaching athletes both physically and non-physically.

"KONI together with IPSI Inhil officials want all martial arts schools in Inhil Regency to always improve quality and achievement so that they can compete at a higher level," he remembers.
