News24xx.com - The Morning Market Traders Association (APPP), or what is now known as the Mayang Kelapa Market, held a maulid activity for the Prophet Muhammad on Monday, November 25, 2019. The activity, which was centered at the Pasar Pagi shanties, was attended by hundreds of invitations from traders and the surrounding community.

The Chairperson of the Organizing Committee, Zaini who also represented the Morning Market Traders Association thanked the donors as well as the Morning Market community who had provided assistance. "Hopefully what we do will become acts of worship and be accepted by God," he said.

He hoped, hopefully such activities continue and can continue to be developed, because it is very rare in a market to hold religious activities. "May we always thirst for religious knowledge," he hoped.

The head of the committee also explained that the funds from these activities were obtained from the mutual cooperation of the morning market traders and cash funds from the morning market traders that had been collected.

"The funds are used for activities and mutual interests. I also apologize if there are deficiencies in our service and acceptance," he added.

Meanwhile, the lecturer who gave a sermon, Ustad Muhammad Ilyas SHI who is also the supervisor of Darul Rahman Islamic Boarding School discusses related to morality to Allah SWT with, offering prayers, alms giving and taking a lot of religious activities and the way the Prophet exemplified his character.

"Always remembering Allah will make us zuhud the world, the heart will be calm. Dhikr will make our hearts connected to Allah," he said.
