SIAK - The Siak Regent was elected as the only Regional Head in Riau Province, who received an award as the 2019 Entrepreneurship Award in the Tourism Category, from Mark Plus Inc. and the Philip Kotler Center for ASEAN Marketing.

The award was presented by the Director of Institutional and BUMN Relations of Bank BRI Central Agus Noorsanto as one of the sponsors, at the 2019 Entrepreneur Award Leader, in Ballroom 1C, Rizt Carlton Pacific Place, Jakarta SCBD complex, Wednesday afternoon (04/12/2019).

When met after receiving the award, Siak Regent Alfedri expressed his gratitude for the award that had been won by this Siak Regency.

"Alhamdulillah, today the Regent of Siak receives an award from Mark Plus Inc. and the Philip Kotler Center for ASEAN Marketing, in the field of tourism," Alfedri said.

The Siak Regional Government together with the Tourism Office and also the Community, continued Alfedri, have collaborated and tried to continue to encourage the development of tourism in the Siak Regency, both in terms of the addition of attractions, promotion and marketing of tourism.

"That effort is the evaluation by Mark Plus Inc. and the Philip Kotler Center for ASEAN Marketing, and gives awards to the Regent of Siak," he explained.

Still Alfedri said, with the continued development of attractions in Siak Regency, will encourage the community's economy in the future.

"With the increasing number of tourists in Siak Regency, it will revive various types of businesses such as lodging, culinary, transportation and others. It will even increase the creativity of Siak children," hoped Alfedri.
