The Malaysian government has taken a step forward in caring for homeless people in Malaysia during very difficult times.

According to an online Star report, many orange cubes were set up at community centers in Petaling Jaya for the homeless. Federal Territory Minister Tan Sri Annuar Musa noted that this effort was specific to those who had lived in community centers.

Prior to this, the minister shared photos of how homeless people living in shelters lay on single mattresses arranged on the floor, each one meter away. Based on reports, there are more than 600 homeless people living in shelters today. The shelters are scattered in Sentul Perdana, Tasik Ampang Hilir, Setiawangsa, Alam Damai Cheras, Jalan Pahang, and Anjung Singgah Jalan Jang Lekiu.
