News24xx.com - Inhil-Regent Indragiri Hilir (Inhil) HM Wardan, launched the first phase of the Social Cash Assistance (BST) 2020, in Pulau Palas Village, Tembilahan Hulu District, Tuesday (19 May) afternoon.

Technically BST which is intended for people affected by COVID 19 in the amount of Rp. Six hundred thousand is channeled through Pos Indonesia Company which is targeted to be finished before the upcoming Eid.

For Inhil Regency, there are 50,128 heads of families (KK) who receive BST. Likewise to consider the effectiveness of the time of aid distribution by utilizing government facilities.

Such as schools, village offices, gor and the like. The goal is not to pile up the crowd in one location, so that the distribution target can be completed before the upcoming Idul Fitri.

"Today we started distributing the first stage BST to residents of West Tembilahan Village and Pulau Palas Village, in general throughout the Tembilahan Hulu Sub-district area," said Inhil Regent HM Wardan.

The Regent hoped that the assistance provided by the government could be useful and used as well as possible. Especially in the middle of the COVID pandemic which coincides with the fasting month before Eid.

"I hope that this assistance can be useful and ease the burden on the poor," said Regent of Inhil, the two periods.

Then the Regent also explained that the assistance provided by the government for several months was given to poor people who had not or had never received assistance from other sources such as PKH and so on.

Still according to the Regent who is known for this religion so that the collection of data up to the technical distribution of BST is really carried out according to expectations so that residents who receive assistance feel its positive effects.

"In the implementation of this BST award must be done in accordance with existing data," he said.
