A 56-year-old woman was found stabbed to death on the bedroom floor of her home

News24xx.com - A 56-year-old woman was found stabbed to death on the bedroom floor of her Staten Island home, cops said Monday. Deidre Borders was discovered dead inside her home on Osgood Ave. near Van Duzer St. in Clifton about 11:45 a.m. Sunday, police said.

Cops were called to the two-family home after the other family that lives there became worried they hadn’t seen Borders recently. When cops arrived to perform a wellness check, Borders lifeless body could be seen from outside through a window on the bedroom floor, sources said.

Her death has been deemed a homicide. Investigators are working to determine when she was killed and have made no arrests.
