News24xx.com - A young man in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta caused a stir on social media. He threatened to kill his mother when doing live broadcast (live) on the Facebook social networking account 'Pras Setio'.

The video was circulated virally on social media. East Jakarta Police officers intervened to investigate the case.

Kasat Reskrim Polres East Jakarta AKBP Heri Purnomo said it had checked into the scene. The young man had been secured and taken to a mental hospital in Duren Sawit, East Jakarta.

A viral video circulated on social media narrating a man threatening mother and family in Kramat Jati, East Jakarta. The perpetrators are said to have threatened her mother and family while doing live Facebook.

Meanwhile, East Jakarta Police Chief Commissioner Arie Ardiyan said that before the incident, the perpetrators had also mistreated his mother.

"The perpetrators had abused their biological mothers by hitting their shoulders with their bare hands in April 2020," said East Jakarta Police Chief Commissioner Arie Ardiyan in his statement to reporters on Tuesday (5/26).

Arie said the perpetrators were people with special needs and had a mental disorder since attending junior high school.

It's just that so far the perpetrators have never been hospitalized. Perpetrators only outpatient in a mental hospital.

Based on the investigation, the perpetrator threatened his mother because of anger because he was told to fill the tub. At this time the perpetrators were taken to the Polri Hospital, Kramat Jati.

In the video, there appears a glasses and stocky young man lying on a mattress and currently live on Facebook. He suddenly threatened to kill his mother.

"For a long time I kill my mother and father in order to go to jail," said the young man as seen in a video circulating.
