Jaafar's grandfather was found helpless in his house filled with rubbish heaps

News24xx.com - Jaafar Ali Mohd, a 78-year-old elderly man was found by authorities in Kampung Seri Rompin, Negeri Sembilan. Residents worry the article they realize that he was invisible for a week.

According to Metro Daily, Coordinator of the Padang Jeram State Legislative Assembly, Smusliadi said on Saturday he was approached by residents in the area to report the missing person.

"I then went to the Rompin Police Station to ask for help before heading to his house with the Kampung Seri Rompin Community Management Council (MPKK) to assess the situation," he said.

"We were surprised to find Jaafar in a weak state in his house full of rubbish," he added.

Based on information provided by Jaafar's neighbor, he is often seen leaving his house and around the town of Rompin, which is about one kilometer from his house. But since last week, he has not been seen, which causes them to be suspicious.

They also told Smusliadi that he had lived in the house he had rented for nearly 20 years.

Authorities who visited Jaafar along with Smusliadi tried to find identification documents around Jaafar's house but were unable to find them.

Jaafar is now being treated at the Thumb Hospital and his case has been submitted to the Thumb Social Welfare Department for further action, "Smusliadi explained.
