Mysterious Story of Seven Health Officers Killed Tragically After Being Abducted of Men in Military Uniforms

News24xx.com - Seven health workers and a civilian were killed in a village north of the Somali capital after being abducted by masked men in military uniforms on Wednesday, a director of a local aid group said on Thursday, May 28, 2020.

The incident took place in the village of Galooley on the outskirts of Balad district, 30 km (19 miles) north of Mogadishu, and became a tragedy amid the handling of the corona virus.

It is not clear who is responsible for the killing. What is clear is this unfortunate incident occurred after several days of clashes between security forces and rebels belonging to the al-Shabaab group linked to Al Qaeda.
