102 Regions Allowed To Apply New Normal, In Riau It Only Applied To These 2 Regencies

The Front Cluster for the Acceleration of Handling Covid-19 finally gave permission to 102 regions in the country to enforce the new normal. The area granted the permit is declared to be in green status.

Whereas specifically for Riau Province, the permission to apply the new normal status was only given to the districts of Kuantan Singingi and Rokan Hilir.

In its official statement the BNPB via the Twitter account @BNPB_Indonesia, Sunday 31 May 2020 explained, 102 regions are spread in 23 provinces.

Reported by the second, BNPB explained that the granting of authority was based on epidemiological criteria.

"The 102 cities are recommendations from the expert team through various approaches. The approach used is based on epidemiological criteria, public health surveillance and health services according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization (WHO)," the contents of the tweet continued.

The following is a list of regions that are given permission to carry out new normal:

1. Aceh: Pidie Jaya, Aceh Singkil, Bireuen, Aceh Jaya, Raya, Subulussalam City, Southeast Aceh, Central Aceh, West Aceh, South Aceh, Sabang City, Langsa City, East Aceh and Aceh Besar
2. North Sumatra: West Nias, West Pakpak, Samosir, Central Tapanuli, Nias, North Padang Lawas, Labuhan Batu Selatan, Sibolga City, South Tapanuli, Humbang Hasundutan, North Nias, Mandailing Natal, Padang Lawas, Gunungsitoli City, and South Nias
3. Riau Islands: Natuna, Lingga, Anambas Islands
4. Riau: Rokan Hilir, and Kuantan Singgigi
5. Jambi: Kerinci
6. Bengkulu: Rejang Lebong
7. South Sumatra: Kota Pagar Alam, Penukal Abab Lematang Ilir, South Ogan Komering Ulu, and Empat Lawang
8. Bangka Belitung: East Belitung
9. Lampung: East Lampung and Mesuji
10. Central Java: Tegal
11. East Kalimantan: Mahakam Ulu
12. Central Kalimantan: Sukamara
13. North Sulawesi: Bolaang Mongondow Timur and Siau Tagulandang Biaro Islands
14. Gorontalo: North Gorontalo
15. Central Sulawesi: Donggala, Tojo Una-Una, Banggai Laut
16. West Sulawesi: Mamasa
17. South Sulawesi: North Toraja
18. Southeast Sulawesi: North Buton, South Buton, North Buton, Buton, North Konawe, Konawe Islands
19. East Nusa Tenggara: Ngada, Central Sumba, Southwest Sumba, Alor, West Sumba, Lembata, Malacca, Rote Ndao, East Manggarai, North Central Timor, Sabu Raijua, Kupang, Belu, and South Central Timor
20. North Maluku: Central Halmahera and East Halmahera
