PEKANBARU - Rector of the Riau Islamic University Prof. Dr. H. Syafrinaldi, SH, MH planned to inaugurate and take the oath of the Deputy Dean of the Faculty and Deputy Director of Postgraduate in the UIR environment.

The inauguration will take placeon Tuesday morning (02/06 2020) on the fourth floor of the UIR Rectorate Building. Besides being attended by Deputy Rector I Syafhendry, Asrol Deputy Rector II, Deputy Rector III Rosyadi, the inauguration was also witnessed by the Chairperson of the Riau Islamic Education Foundation (YLPI) Nurman and the Deans of the Faculties

Chairman of the Inauguration Committee, H Zakir Has, SH, SPd, said that his office had made every effort to prepare the inauguration agenda.

The oath taking and inauguration took place in an atmosphere of new normal life. Therefore, health protocol rules must still be enforced.

'' The Rectorate only invited relevant parties to attend the inauguration. Not too crowded like taking an oath before the Covid 19. The show was designed as fast and as simple as possible. The main thing is taking an oath and inauguration, '' said Zakir.

He appealed to the Deputy Deans who are appointed to be present on Tuesday morning (05/02 2020).

'' The inauguration should take place Monday, June 1. But because Monday coincides with the national holiday, we shift the day to Tuesday, '' added Zakir.

As for the Chairpersons of the Study Program who are usually appointed together with the Deputy Dean, Zakir asserted that the authority was delegated to each dean.

'' The Chancellor only appoints vice deans and postgraduate vice directors. Regarding the Chairperson of the Study Program and the Chair of the Department, the authority is given to the Dean, '' said Zakir.
