A man was found dead by firefighters while putting out a dumpster fire in Queens

News24xx.com - A man was found dead by firefighters while putting out a dumpster fire on the side of a Queens bank on Saturday.

Firefighters were called to the Hillside Ave. HSBC Bank branch near Braddock Ave. in Queens Village just before 1 p.m. after a fire was set near a dumpster on the side of the building.

Cops said, "A burned, unidentified man was found underneath the burning rubbish. He was pronounced dead at the scene."

An autopsy has been scheduled to determine how he died.

Cops were at the scene searching for surveillance video Saturday.
