PSBB Ends, Gojek Indonesia Re-Enables GoRide Service in Pekanbaru
PEKANBARU - Good news for GoRide driver partners in Pekanbaru, Gojek Indonesia has officially reactivated the dated GoRide service on Saturday, May 30, 2020 yesterday.
The activation of the GoRide service is in line with the end of the implementation of the Pekanbaru Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB) the day before.
the good news was delivered directly by Gojek Indonesia's Chief Corporate Affairs, Nila Marita in its official release, on Sunday, May 31, 2020 noon.
"With the reactivation of the GoRide service, in order to protect GoRide partners and users, we have established various health procedures," explained Nila.
In addition to implementing health protocols, she also made several other efforts such as the application of safety and health protocols.

"Namely requiring driver partners to use masks, gloves and hand sanitizers as a condition for carrying out orders, in accordance with government regulations," he explained.
"From the various protocols and health education that we do through various channels, our driver partners have a high level of awareness of health standards and protocols to ensure their personal safety and the services they lead," he continued.
In addition, it has also established 130 Safe Joint Goat Posts in various cities including Pekanbaru.
This post provides 3 services for all driver partners, checking body temperature, distributing healthy kits (masks and hand sanitizers) and spraying disinfectants both to helmets, motorcycles, or cars used by partners.
"Going forward, Gojek will present even more Safe Post Points in various cities and distribute more healthy kits to driver partners," Nila said.

Gojek Indonesia so far has also added a partner health information feature in the Gojek app. Customers can find out the driver partner's body temperature and disinfection status of the driver's partner vehicle through the Gojek app.
This feature not only helps Gojek service users feel safe and ensures that their services meet health and hygiene standards, but also helps Gojek driver partners work peacefully.
"We will continue to carry out this socialization routinely to increase the knowledge of driver partners in preventing the spread of COVID-19," she concluded.
