Positive Corona and PDP Died Zero, Pemko Pekanbaru Holds Mass Rapid Tests in 2 Districts This Week

News24xx.com - Positive cases of corona and patients under surveillance (PDP) have died until now. Pekanbaru City Government continues to defend this zero case of corona by conducting mass rapid tests in two sub-districts this week.

Spokesperson for Health Sector Task Force Handling Corona Virus Disease 2019 (Covid-19) Pekanbaru City Doctor Mulyadi, Sunday (05/31/2020), revealed the latest data. There are 9 people in monitoring (ODP) today. There are 10 patients under surveillance (PDP).

"The PDP case passed away and a positive corona case was nil," he said.

That way, the development of cases since March 3 in Pekanbaru, namely a total of 40 positive positive cases. The details, 33 people recovered and went home. As many as 3 are still being treated and 4 died.

Meanwhile, the total PDP case was 564 people. A total of 462 people recovered and went home. As many as 43 are still being treated and 59 died.

"We have received the results of 59 PDP swabs that have passed away. All of them are corona negative," explained Doctor Mulyadi.

Please note, a PDP who dies is not necessarily corona positive. PDP who died due to other diseases.

Meanwhile, the total ODP cases were 5,222 people. The details, 5,035 people have finished monitoring and 187 people are still under monitoring.

The results of the rapid test examination for ODP 2,395 people. In details, 2,362 people were non-reactive and 33 were reactive.

"On June 2, we will again hold a mass rapid test and spraying disinfectant liquid in Tangkerang Utara and Tangkerang Barat Kelurahan. These two villages are located in Bukit Raya Sub-district. Then, mass rapid tests will also be held in Marpoyan Damai District on 4 June, "said Doctor Mulyadi.
