The Director General of Islamic Community Guidance of the Ministry of Religion, Kamaruddin Amin said, one of the things that was discussed was the procession of a marriage contract outside the KUA.

"All this time, the marriage contract is only in the KUA office, we are still deterred from outside the KUA," Kamaruddin said to reporters on Sunday (5/31/2020). As reported by detik.com (01/06/2020).

"The rules about marriage are being brewed. Insya Allah, next week (completed) "he said.

In addition, the Ministry of Religion has also issued a circular (SE) concerning Guidelines for Organizing Religious Activities in Worship Houses in Realizing Covid Productive and Safe Communities in the Pandemic Period. In the Circular Letter, one of which is also regulated regarding community meeting activities, one example is marriage.

In Circular Letter Number 15 Year 2020 it contains 6 points of complete rules about religious activities in houses of worship before the new normal. Related to the contract, there is in the sixth point. The following contents:

6. The implementation of social functions of houses of worship includes community meetings, for example marriages / marriages, still referring to the provisions above with additional provisions as follows:

a. Ensure that all participants present are healthy and negative COVID-19

b. Limit the number of participants to a maximum of 2% (twenty percent) of the space capacity and not more than 30 people

c. The meeting is held as efficient as possible.

Then, for marriage contract activities in places of worship is possible if the house of worship is safe from Corona. In the Ministry of Religion, the Ministry of Religion also emphasized that places of worship that are justified to hold congregation or collective activities must be based on field facts as well as R-Naught / RO numbers and Effective Reproduction Number / Rt figures, and are in an area or environment that is safe from COVID-19.
