Police Arrest Artist Dwi Sasono For Drug Abuse

South Jakarta Police Resort Drug uit arrested artist Dwi Sasono for cannabis drug abuse cases.

The arrest news was justified by South Jakarta Metro Police Narcotics Unit Kompol Vivick Tjangkung. Monday June 1 2020.

"That's right (Dwi Sasono was arrested)," he said in a statement quoting on Kompas.

Meanwhile, according to South Jakarta Regional Police Head of Public Relations, Senior Commissioner Yusri Yunus said Dwi was arrested at his residence in the Pondok Labu area, South Jakarta, on May 26, 2020.

"We have secured DS in his residence for possession of cannabis," Yusri said, quoting the Mayor. Monday June 1 2020.

During the arrest, the police confiscated evidence of marijuana that Dwi Sasono kept in a place placed above the cupboard.

"Evidence of marijuana weighing 16 grams," said Yusri Yunus.

From the results of the examination, the singer Widi Mulia's husband ordered cannabis from a person with the initial C who is now included in the search list.

"The urine test results showed positive DS of cannabis consumption. He admitted that DS consumed cannabis during the last month," Yusri Yunus said.

The arrest of Dwi Sasono began with reports from the community which were then followed up by the police. "When secured at his residence, DS is cooperative," he concluded.
