News24xx.com - Various sectors in Riau province seem to have returned to their activities as before Covid-19. At the same time, the number of patients recovering continues to increase, and the addition of positive patients tends to be zero.

However, so far the Riau provincial government has continued to impose standards of care for People Under Monitoring (ODP), Patients Under Supervision (PDP) and positive patients Covid-19.

"Not to revoke the policy, PDP patients must be treated. Covid-19 patients are symptomatic, mild, severe or without symptoms, it must be isolated in the hospital," said Dr Indra Yovi, a spokesman for Covid-19 Riau last weekend.

Because he continued, he was afraid that the existing PDP was wandering, so that it was feared to add new clusters.

"Because, we apologize, we do not trust the level of discipline if it is left at home. Fear of wandering around, later fear there will be more new clusters. And that (the policy remains in the hospital) has not been revoked by the Riau provincial government," he said .

He added, it was the difference between Riau province and other provinces. In Riau, there are no words of people without symptoms (OTG), because all OTGs automatically become ODP. Riau does not know PDP who roam or be isolated at home. Also Riau does not know Covid patients who roam or be isolated at home.

"Everything is mandatory in the hospital until healed. If healed, we will only be sure to move or send him back (the patient)," he concluded.
