News24xx.com - Dumai City Government is targeting rapid tests in a number of traditional markets this week. This rapid test in traditional markets is deliberately carried out to detect residents or traders who have contracted the corona virus.

Rapid tests were carried out in two locations namely in front of the Ratu Textile Shop in Senggol Market, Jalan Jenderal Sudirman and in the courtyard of the Muhammadiyah Mosque on Jalan Sultan Syarif Kasi, Tuesday (2/6/2020). "We conducted a rapid test of all traders in the traditional markets of Dumai City in stages," said the Mayor of Dumai Zulkifli US as quoted from the site dumaikota.go.id, Wednesday (06/03/2020).

The traders were very enthusiastic to undergo the rapid test process which was conducted starting at 09.00 WIB and ended at 11.00 WIB. From the results of the data in the field, there were 141 people. All of them were declared non-reactive or negative.

Despite being non-reactive, all traders and visitors in the Senggol Market must pay attention to health protocols that use masks, diligently wash their hands with soap, keep their distance.

There is also a rapid test schedule for traders in Dumai City traditional markets namely Senggol Market on June 2, 2020, Dock Market on June 3, Roundabout Market on June 4, Jayamukti Market on June 5, Sri Mersing Mother Market on June 6, 2020, and Payung Island Market on June 7.
