The Skin of a Doctor from Wuhan Blackens After Corona Treatment

News24xx.com - Dr. Hu Weifeng was infected with Covid-19 when he was treating the same virus at the Wuhan hospital in January.

The doctor received intensive care for two months before dying at the hospital on Tuesday local time (2 June 2020).

Together with his colleague, Dr. Yi Fan, Dr. Hu became international news because their skin turned black when they received the coronavirus drug.

Reported by the Daily Mirror, blackened skin caused by their liver damaged due to hormonal imbalances.

Peng Mei News reported that the 42-year-old urologist had breathed his last due to complications caused by Covid-19.

A senior doctor at Tongji Hospital revealed that before he died, Dr. Hu Weifeng went into a coma after suffering a brain hemorrhage on April 22 and underwent surgery.

"We performed surgery to remove fluid from his brain on Saturday (30 May 2020)," the anonymous doctor told the South China Morning Post.

In a television show in Beijing, it shows Dr. Yi and Dr. Hu lying in bed with their dark faces.

Interviewed by the Los Angeles Times, Dr. Harlan Krumholz from Yale University explained that corona is not limited to a disease that interferes with breathing.

"This virus can affect the heart, liver, kidneys, brain, circulatory system, and other body systems," explained Krumholz.
