Commonly Being Found in Spinach, Eggs, Cheese, and Broccoli, Vitamin K is Believed to be Able to Fight Covid-19

News24xx.com - Researchers in the Netherlands believe that vitamin K, commonly found in spinach, broccoli, eggs, and cheese, can help fight the infection of the new Sars-Cov-2 coronavirus that causes Covid-19 disease.

The conviction was obtained after scientists found that Covid-19 patients who died or were treated in emergency facilities on average had vitamin K deficiency, The Guardian reported.

In their study, scientists examined patients treated at Canisius Wilhelmina Hospital, Nijmegen. They studied 134 Covid-19 patients between March 12 - April 11. As a comparison, the scientists looked at 184 other disease patients who were the same age as the Covid-19 patients.

Covid-19 is known to cause blood clots or clots and trigger the degradation of elastic fibers in the lungs. Vitamin K, on ??the other hand, is known to produce proteins that reduce blood clotting and can protect the lungs from disease.

However, Janssen reminded me that vitamin K cannot be consumed by patients who are taking anti-blood clotting drugs.
